The First Workshop on Human-Informed Translation and Interpreting Technology (HiT-IT 2017)

In 2017, I was involved in the organisation of the first workshop on Human-Informed Translation and Interpreting (HiT-IT 2017). The aim of this workshop was to bring together people interested in translation and interpreting technologies and discuss how these technologies could benefit from human input. Who imagined at that point that it will start a nice series with the another workshop organised in 2019 and the forthcoming HiT-IT 2023 conference, a very much delayed project due to Covid.
